To whom it may concern,

Preemptively, thank you so much for writing for me. As per usual I'd be pretty happy with just about anything you can come up with for these songs/videos, but below are some suggestions if you want them:

Stuff I like:

- Period pieces, the more detailed the better
- Lyrical prose bordering on the purple
- Poetry
- Mythology/folklore wank
- Steampunk
- Pseudo-factual material like found footage and fiction presented nonfictionally like as a documentary or newspaper account
- Travel narratives
- Scenery porn
- Porn porn (vanilla is fine, kinky is fine, non-/dubcon is fine for specified prompts, just no excrement or hardcore guro/body mod stuff.)

Song: Lullaby - American Murder Song (Song)

Lyrics link: https://genius.com/American-murder-song-lullaby-annotated

Genre: Folk ballad

I want to know more about this family. Were the wrist branches a curse for a murder (even if it was a mercy killing) or something to remember the wife by, or, like, a highly justified Native American curse paying off? Did the branches persist through subsequent generations? Did the rest of the family make it Out West, or did they end up turning into trees or something? If you go for art, maybe a picture of the locket, or the wrist branches, or the wife's grave/the graves of others. Something nice and macabre, anyway. Note: American Murder Song actually has its own established tag on Ao3 (American Murder Song - Various (Album)) so if you'd be interested in writing a fic for the greater tag that maybe a few more AMS fans might see you could always tag the fandom with that in addition to the specific song.

Song: Miracle - Caravan Palace (Video)

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdabIfmcqSQ

Lyrics link: https://genius.com/Caravan-palace-miracle-lyrics

Genre: Electro-Swing

You can totally go the History Channel crackpot route here with the women being extraterrestrial/supernatural/whatever in nature or you can just tell me about the history of the hyperadvanced Mesoamerican sisterhood of spacefarers who just obtained their dude-powered spaceship building knowledge themselves through good old-fashioned research and experimentation. Either would be great, both would be great, I just want to know about how they got/built the spaceship, and possibly about their adventures exploring space subsequently if that'd be something you're into.

Song: Deutschland - Rammstein (Video)

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeQM1c-XCDc&fbclid=IwAR3Qi4THjLzWi1WUHQTgfrALSBj4CU2r25Uwqzr_e08_nrvUWmQfW-viqB8

Lyrics link: https://affenknecht.com/lyrics/deutschland/

Genre: Industrial metal

If you're a German history buff, (or would like to be) go nuts with the historical AUs, especially the Romans and the Weimar fight club. If you're not or the historical periods are touchy enough that you'd rather leave leave them alone (entirely understandable) I'd also dearly love something more generically fantastic about the armored lady's presence on the battlefield resurrecting soldiers, or the astronaut-priests attending upon the space nun pregnant with puppies, or the cannibal monks with the bondage mask guys trapped under their table for some reason. Just be as lush, OTT and weird as the video is, either visually or verbally, and have fun with the imagery and implications. Also I totally got into bandslash via Rammstein when I was a wee lass, so if by some chance you're into that as well then any of the above with added boning between the guys or the guys and Ms. Germania would be entirely welcome.

Song: Ages Past, Ages Hence - Loreena McKennitt (Song)

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g97IG3yuFBk

Lyrics link: https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/loreenamckennitt/agespastageshence.html

Genre: Celtic/New Age

Apart from the possibilities of showing the seaside castle and forest through the ages past/hence in question, the song does seem to be addressing a person - is it just the personification of the location, some kind of genius locus, or, like, a person (or series of people) who lives there and is the source of the carefully-turned pages? Are those pages the history of humanity, or the world generally, or some kind of more personal chronicle? Anything from a broad overview of "man's journey into himself" with someone paying witness to said journey to a more personal look at who/whatever is a part of this tableau. Obviously I'd be into a visual depiction of pretty much anything described by the lyrics, but ruined castles are definitely my jam so if you need a jumping-off point that'd be pretty failproof.

Song: Beyond the Veil - Lindsey Stirling (Video)

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qg7L0OQiN78

Lyrics link: N/A

Genre: Violin Dubstep

Something about who the little girl is would be cool - who she is, if there are more people like her in the underwater forest, what exactly the nebula thing she shows Lindsay is, what her celestial sand drawings mean, that kind of thing. How Lindsay ended up on the beach in the first place or what, if anything, the Lindsay in the forest has to do with any of this would be cool as well. Or just talk about why there's some kind of evergreen forest with buildings and treasure under this part of the ocean and how you can manage to find it - presumably the little girl, or some other kind of guide, is involved? Artistic depictions of any and all of these things would be good, especially any landscapes with the subaquatic city.

Song: The Tower - Bruce Dickinson (Song)

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVTeN4xs7Do (sorry there's not a better quality video that I could find)

Lyrics link: http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/brucedickinson/thetower.html

Genre: Heavy metal

So you're welcome to go to the video for this one, or to the tarot symbolism suggested by the chorus (a choice to be made under tumultuous, changing circumstances involving the division of positive and negative forces, details subject to change depending on what interpretations of the cards in question you like.) As such, you're welcome to make it as literal or as metaphorical as you want - honestly I'd be just as happy with a story about two lovers stuck in a tower surrounded by these mysterious people/symbols as with the above outline suggestion, as well as with something about the two trying to make their way to the top of the titular tower as a scary puppet watches their progress and Bruce Dickinson narrates the whole thing.

Anyway. Once again, thank you so much in advance and I can't wait to see what you come up with.
